@ShoreCrabber Some times we cut them up more it really depends on where we race at. This is the typical amount that we do. Some times a little more. I know big blocks and small blocks grove more than sportsman do

@ShoreCrabber Grooving helps clean the dirt out of the tire and help keep good contact between tire and track. Also helps cool tire down during the race and then allows a possibility for the enhancement of more traction and/or grip. We also grove front tires to help steer better into the turn
