Understanding (empathy) is the key to unlocking ALL of our problems. This is true personally, culturally and globally. If we just take a little more time to listen & understand each other, then considered an alternate perspective, we will eliminate the vast majority of socio political issues. This sounds simple, but I know it's true. We are working on several fronts to improve diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility (the building blocks of understanding) by participating in conversations and implementing change through our training platforms, networks, strategic alliances, supporters & friends. @1687Productions co-founders @NatashaMBell & @monkeyrgb, have helped build an amazing coalition of supporters at @Microsoft (and beyond) including DEIA champions like @MerrieW, @pmc @shanselman, @darrellbooker, and WAY, WAY, more. Sincere thanks for your support 🙏 @SimpleLMS co-founders @NFTcatlady & @ANatalieSantana are actively working with our state partners and stakeholders @MAChildAdvocate, @CaliforniaDSS, @DhhsNevada (and more) to change the narrative to include implicit bias training in all the courses we develop @TrainReporters. This is HUGE, because we are educating millions of people about implicit bias, and this will help advance DEIA. Thank you to our current and future state parters. We are making a difference. Today, on the 35th anniversary of the Civil Liberties Act of 1988, my office formally apologized for its past role in the deprivation of Japanese Americans’ civil liberties during WWII. The suffering caused by these actions is incalculable and the moral injustice is undeniable.
