I spoke in the Chamber about toughening up sentences for driving crime. I agree with @RoadPeace that driving crime isn’t treated as real crime. I’ve been inspired by @1687lucy and I’ve been assured by the ministers that this will be in the Sentencing Bill. @RedditchTories

One of the #RoadSafety projects at work is the letter tree. It was a joint project with bereaved families & us, Transport For West Midlands. This tree, carried letters of grief, anger & stories of avoidable road deaths. Here’s just one from @1687lucy Don’t make bad choices!

@PatrickChristys your coverage this evening is so disappointing. As a sister whose brother was killed by a speeding driver, and who has spent 10 years working with families bereaved by road crime you really need to come and talk to us. This is a shocking and ill-informed debate.

An ＠ITVNews investigation has found people with healthy BMIs are accessing weight-loss jabs from online pharmacies by using AI to edit their pictures to make themselves look bigger. Our reporter, Cree-Summer Haughton, submitted an altered image of herself to six different pharmacies and was sent weight-loss jabs by three of them without further checks.

So very sad to hear of the passing of Baroness Newlove. When Elaine and I campaigned on second post-mortems she was an incredible advocate - getting us a meeting with the Chief Coroner and supporting us to achieve change. She was a true inspiration and so warm and encouraging.
