Paul Mainieri is a Hall of Fame coach and a Hall of Fame human. It didn’t work at South Carolina but please don’t let that take away the legacy he built throughout his coaching career. Gamecocks job is a damn good one, plenty of big names will be in the mix.

I am so grateful Coach Pitino recognized my dad. Dad recruited Coach Donovan to Providence and many of the players on the 1987 Final Four Team. Dad is one of the greatest coaches the world never got to know.
