True story. 1973, we had a freshman canteen dance party held in our school gymnasium. I only went because I knew Luanne would be there. I spit shined my platform shoes, attired myself in my best fitting shirt and “Jeans West” bell bottom pants. I put on a splash Hai Karate cologne and eagerly went to the dance. Near the end I got the courage to ask and danced to Witchy Women. I was the luckiest boy that night...
