Charles is forcing grappling. Topuria can: 1. Purely defend or 2. Defend then grapple back 1 allows Oliveira to initiate grappling with no consequence. 2 makes it a winning exchange for Topuria AND gives Charles far more to consider which extends the time in striking phases.
