A graduation ceremony should teach young people that achievement deserves dignity.
Instead, Centennial High School gave them a lesson in institutional stupidity.
Four years of work ended with students sitting soaked in the rain because someone treated a “Rain or Shine” policy like sacred law instead of using basic judgment.
This is how societies lose their ability to think. Rules become excuses. Policies replace common sense. Adults hide behind procedure while children pay the price.
The issue was never the rain but that no one in charge had the courage to say, “This is ridiculous. Move it inside. Delay it. Protect the students.”

Seniors should not be priced out of a house they already paid for because the area around them got more expensive. They didn’t suddenly get richer because Zillow says the house is worth more. Most of them are living on fixed income, paying higher insurance, higher utilities, higher groceries, and then the tax bill shows up like they somehow got a raise. People can argue all day about how to fund schools and services, and that part does matter. But making older homeowners keep rebuying the same house every year through property taxes is exactly why so many people feel like ownership is never really ownership.

I've seen him call out Israel for their ACTIONS, their choices, but I've never seen him make sweeping judgements about all Israelis.

There was only one thing that surprised me about the Jubilee with MAGA die-hards.
It wasn't that some people scream and refuse to stop talking. It wasn't that these were mostly young people cheering and finding purpose in wars but never fighting in them. It wasn't that their politics is more of a cult of personality. All expected and found in all factions.
It was that, despite being political junkies, they had no idea about Trump's enormous corruption scandals because the corporate and independent media they consume doesn't mention it. They had no idea it existed:
