@FCBJimmy_ Absolutely correct, especially the handball. I expected the team to protest if it were to be Athletico players, they would have protested and the ref would have checked var and Give a Penalty. Just like they protested the Cubarsi foul else the ref yellow card could have stood.

I’ll tell you one thing though Barcelona has to learn how to play a bit dirty. The problem is that we’re still playing with utmost integrity and respect for the beautiful game but when the system works against you you have to be smarter. Why didn’t Cubarsí protest when Simeone stuck his leg out to look for contact? Why didn’t the team swarm the ref when a clear handball was ignored? Why didn’t the players react when Koke got away with a third yellow card challenge? Why didn’t Cancelo or Yamal go down when there was clear contact in the box? You have to be smarter and defend yourself when you have the right to do so. I’m not saying to be unfair or scummy like real madrid players who dive multiple times per game but you have to at least signal to the ref when there’s injustice. This team is young and too kind but at some point you have to realize that life isn’t always fair to those who play nice. You have to stand up for yourself and defend your right to compete.
