🇳🇬 Zadok Yohanna - remember this kid’s name. Seriously special player. An 18-year-old right-winger who is playing for AIK (Isak’s former team) in Sweden right now. He has 4 goals in his last 3 games since the new season has begun. But it’s not just the goals, it’s the overall performances that are catching the eye. Yohanna is influencing matches in a really important way becoming a player who can make the difference for AIK. First of all, he’s a player who loves to take defenders on. He’s got an excellent first touch and likes to stay out on the flanks to isolate himself in one vs one or one vs two situations. In three games, he’s attempted 31 (!) dribbles and has completed 19 of his attempts. He’s full of energy and zeal and has excellent foot-work and body orientation. That combined with his pace makes him a really dangerous player. His movement off the ball and positioning is impressive, too. He gets into a lot of dangerous areas in and around the box, and knows how to manipulate space really well. Offensively, I’ve not seen as impressive of a talent as him in Scandinavia for a while. Definitely someone to follow very closely. Could be the next Bazoumana Toure or Yankuba Minteh - they both made their mark in Scandinavia. But maybe Yohanna is someone with an even higher ceiling than those two - just feel like his technical quality and football IQ seems even higher at the same age.
