This idea that the league being less talented (didn’t carry the ball, take an extra step, or do backflips on the court) means they weren’t as good at basketball is a myth. I watch the game today. Players back in the day were just as good and even better at the actual game of basketball.
You can put out of shape weekend warriors from the YMCA vs the most talented people in the world. The YMCA dudes are going to win if they are better at the game of basketball.
