Every time somebody criticizes President Biden for “not doing enough in Maui, Hawaii,” or Florida or anywhere else, show them this tweet by President Trump. The same people criticizing Biden, while he is doing everything he can to help the people of Hawaii are the ones who cheered-on Trump while he was doing everything he could to try and rub a tragedy in the faces of those in a state that didn’t vote for him.

The people of mail you’re getting a lot more money than those from other natural disasters under previous administrations. I don’t know what more you want Biden specifically to do. FEMA perhaps could increase their amount that they give per household but that’s something that Hass to be done on a different level. Biden? already increased it from 500 under Trump to 700 under him.

HUGE LOSS for Trump: Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia refuses to approve any commission to remove DA Fani Willis, allowing her to complete her prosecution of Trump and his 18 co-defendants. How does this news make you feel? (GIFs only)

@krassenstein "Proper Forrest Management" was his key point. He was and is correct on this point. However, sending no more money is not right in any emergency.

@LividsRevenge @krassenstein Spraying? With what, fire retardant? If they are killing vegetation, that only adds to the risk. 🤷‍♂️🤔

There's no reason for CA to burn every year. I also live in a very wooded area - our taxes are nothing compared to CA, but our township is out spraying down the areas that are susceptible to fires starting (along the highways where people throw cigarettes out the windows). They should also perform controlled burns to section off areas so that anything that does start can be contained within a grid.

@krassenstein One they had the ability to manage and prevent many of the problems that happened. Maui didn't. Two completely different situations, no matter how you attempt to construe them, they aren't nearly the same. One was manageable/preventable, one wasn't.
