@nin10doland They need to get their art style back too imo. I doubt they will because they basically use Fortnite as a tech demo for Unreal Engine now, it’s so sad.

They honestly need to reboot the game and go back to what made the game great. Fresh, fun, and colorful maps, no collabs, engaging story with fun events through the seasons, unique loot pool with weekly updates, revamped matchmaking, remove bots, simple OG (non turbo) building. People don't want a million side modes, focus on BR (it's what put Fortnite on the map in the first place) and create modes like LTM's that are focused around the BR itself again. The last 3 years have felt like a complete tonal shift for the game with it's graphics and mechanics, shoot even the map designs and they need to get back to the feel of Chapters 1-4. The last season of Chapter 6 has been the first time I legit stopped caring and nothing seems to have changed in chapter 7. Same map layout, same graphics and dull colors, basic weapons, same vehicles, boat loads of collabs. Chapter 8 NEEDS to be a fresh start for the game's sake at this point.

@NastyMeatDylan @charlieINTEL Ironically I think the main reason they are struggling is because they spent so many resources on modes that aren't battle royale. If they really focused on BR like they did back in the game's heyday, I think they would see a resurgence.

@_UnatMar_ @xpertfusion3 What maps from Vanguard were bad? Pretty much every game has a couple of stinkers, but I thought most of them were good. Quite an underrated game in terms of maps. I feel like people just default to saying "the maps were bad" about a game they don't like.

@xpertfusion3 Vanguard I think was mid at best, it had some BAAAD maps. At least 6 Star is the best new map in the modern era

I really don't understand people who say "Call of Duty doesn't make good maps anymore" There's been so many bangers the past few years. The map design philosophy also isn't *that* different than the older games. Only recent games where I had a significant problem with the maps were MW2019, MWII, and *some* of BO6. CW, Vanguard, MWIII, & BO7 are pretty solid when it comes to map design.
