@TheresonlyoneEm Yes, as I say it is also something we are considering doing. Waiting to hear from the school to see if they have plans to vaccinate as we were told by the GP it is something they should do. If not we might pay the £220.

@1981spur I didn’t take it as a dig ✌🏻 just adding why I wanted to book an appointment as soon as possible….. Just feels like 2 deaths too many IMO I get it’s something that is always around but clearly there is an outbreak/surge of it atm. It’s just each to their own isn’t it :-)

And also trying to book a Meningitis B Vaccine at Boots is a bit of a nightmare 😩😩😩😩 appointments showing but then not letting you progress….

@TheresonlyoneEm It wasn’t a dig at you. I meant the media seems to be blowing it up when there have been 2 reported deaths. I get the desire to be safe than sorry. It is also something we have been looking into. Which is why I looked at the stats last night and was surprised.

@1981spur I wouldn’t say I’m panicking (because if I was he’d be home with me today) but equally I’d rather be safe than sorry, I don’t particularly want my child to be a death stat if I can afford to get him vaccinated, just being proactive with something that seems to be spreading quick.

@TheresonlyoneEm My ex was panicking about this yesterday. Of course I get the concern and wanting to protect our kids. However there have been 2 deaths. Obviously this is not a good thing. But for context there were 31 deaths last year. Not sure if this is all media scare mongering.

@chrisTHFC13 I called it out the other day when I see it going on. Wild speculation does not help the team. They are obviously reading it. Helps nobody. We are meant to get behind them.
