4 MORE SLEEPS!!! It’s Provincials Week for NS D1 Boys Hockey. Boys are rested from March Break. Time enough for a practice this week before our first game at 10am Friday Morning. #c4l 🐾 🐆

Posted by Avonview, this years host. You will notice that for the first time in 15+ years that our governing group has dropped this to a 6 team tournament instead of the traditional 8 teams. Not sure the reasoning or how this will work out, I am skeptical!

Huge Congrats to Cheetahs Assistant Coach Cam Waugh and his fiancée Katrina on the birth of their Son Cooper Waugh. Congrats also to Head Coach Kevin on becoming a Grandpa!! #futurecheetah

Congratulations to the CPA Boys Hockey team for winning the D1 Capital Region Banner and punching their ticket to Provincials 3-2 win over Woodlawn. Garriock 29 stops and O’Leary with winner with 22 seconds left.

Here we go, warmups underway. Healthy scratches for CPA for rest, Pitcher, O’Leary, Saulnier and Garriock. Much bigger game tonight in the rematch.

Cheetahs v Woodlawn this Am at 10. Nothing to decide here but home ice advantage as both team already through to the final tonight at 8pm. Winner tonight gets the birth to Provincials the second place team will travel to Cape Breton for a play in game.

Game #2 win against Bayview 3-0 shout out to Holden Kogon with the shutout, N8 Turple with two Goals and Ryan Gurney with his first as a Cheetah. Back at it in the morning vs Woodlawn.

Cheetahs win game one 2-1 in a marathon shootout, 10 shooters and Garriock stood his ground and Aaron Rowe with the game winner. Next up Bayview at 6pm

It all comes down to this to decide the regional championship. Mid-week, work day hockey!! Can’t ask for anything better. This Tournament showcases the league winners(WL), defending Provincial Champs(Cit) & 2 teams looking to dethrone them both. Should be some great games.

Here we go, Bayview is last team in and with Lockview eliminated we are the 2 seed. Some big games coming up this Wed and Thurs.
