@adoherty625 I do. They have been putting in hard work, under abnormal work conditions. But I also care about my own spouse that has put in 10-15 extra hours per week. Is it fair to say she is not essential like a healthcare worker? No I am not ok with 1 more death, but realistic?

@adoherty625 But we don’t take into the account that flu season goes up at the same period this started ramping up again. The Mayo Clinic just stated today they knew it was going to get heavy with mandates. Mandates or not, it is going to germinate and travel, it’s the season.

@adoherty625 Here is probably a cold hard, undesirable fact, with the virus spreading again in both the US and in Europe(who had harsher mandates than we did) and the virus possibly mutating stronger, we will probably lose another 250,000.

@adoherty625 Yes, you mandate that funding for an antibiotic is strictly for studies. Most of studies the money goes to non-study funds.(Look at cancer research)Keep the mandates of masks(even though most people don’t use them correctly) and if you have an underlying condition, stay away.

@adoherty625 That article looked at suicide rates for a 3 month period, it is just like a law of numbers, you need to look at a much larger case study that 1 state with 3 months. It is the lasting effect, PTSD, that will take a while to show up.

@adoherty625 And then the stimulus packages, I think they are needed but unfortunately both sides of the political spectrum throw too much garbage in them. Then again, where does that money come from on a stimulus package...more tax money.

@adoherty625 How much more can you increase taxes? Who gets the tax increase? Do you continue and tax at the local level and then you get into small agricultural communities and the farms get taxed further and they already are in dire straits.
