Taylor Young

Unbelievably excited to announce that I won the Excellence in Sports Reporting award from the @aaja for my Texas Tech piece last year! This is the first solo national writing award of my career, and it’s an honor for it to come from an organization that means so much to me.

Fun fact: My first national award was also from AAJA, as a student. The piece was on @1CoachTY, a linebacker at Baylor. A decade later, he’s assistant linebackers coach at Tech. Full circle!
