“I used to feel Nigerians are really bright. We have had over 500 vacancies since 2024, and we are still struggling to find Nigerians to fill those roles. They don’t meet global standards. I blame social media, yahoo & hook up culture” — Moniepoint CEO, Tosin Eniolorunda
@onlyonepriest1 Dem sabi the consequences of dealing with the devil.
No demonic spirits gives power, wealth, or influence without receiving anything in return, and the greatest consequences is the spirit having unlimited accessibility to the user/host.
@Alamin_bashir00@ibn_wittig Connection to the HR/HRM, is different from having connection to the CEO/CFO of an organization.😂
Connection is like money it differs in value.
@1Darevid1@ibn_wittig You’ll know your connections are useless when you reach the interview and see people calling their own ‘connections’ on the phone. That’s when connection cancels out connection lol
If you graduate with a 2:2 and try to apply for graduate trainee programmes, that’s when you’ll realize why people are so strict about ‘facing your studies.’
It’s an entirely different ball game for third-class graduates.
Most students are not in favor of the proposed three-week retraction. Many who reside far from campus had already commenced their journeys after management mandated an immediate evacuation of the hostels before 7 a.m. In fact, several students were compelled to trek long distances like Awo Hall and Moremi to the campus gate just to secure transportation home.
Rather than enforcing a retraction, it would be far more constructive to utilize this period to address the inefficiencies in the transport system and carry out essential maintenance across the campus, ensuring a smoother and more conducive environment upon students’ return.
@nwangodongodo1@SaharaReporters The police man carried out an act of jungle justice on a suspect, which was soo unprofessional, such act deserves a befitting punishment.
@1Darevid1@SaharaReporters Even if it was deserved, nobody made that policeman a court. And the last time we checked, there was no death sentence on that victim.
The management of OAU is funny😂 You are shutting down the school for three weeks, do you think that when students come back, the agitations would magically disappear?
