You didn’t make it this far without someone helping you in the background. Who is your life’s MVP? The one who was the key to your success. Maybe it’s time to give some gratitude, don’t you think? Good morning from a train in Tokyo.🌦️

Before you do or say something, ask yourself these 3 questions: ・Is it true? ・Is it good? ・Is it useful? ・Is it honorable? If the answer is “no” to any of these questions, then better not say or do it. Good morning from a little town in Tokyo.🌤️

When I started here I saw so many posts about success related to tenacity. I knew I didn’t know most of the skills that an online business needed, except for writing, writing I know. And I know tenacity in my bones. It is a Finnish thing, isn’t it @mizbuganon Many of us are born into the stories and models of SISU. Tenacity seems like a little cousin of Sisu. I can’t say it has been easy. Mostly because of all the earthquakes of my own life. A lot of lessons have put my choices and my adulting in the spot light. “Do the right thing” has become my mantra. And now, a bit over a year later, my life is softly ebbing in changed waters. I have delivered mini cohorts. One-on-ones to transform procrastination into embodied action. And last week, following flow (almost by accident) I launched and sold my first cohort for parenting. All just because I did not give up. Also for reference why this is remarkable. During those twelve months: I became a single parent (against all my best efforts). I had to shut down a company I established a new company. I got divorced. Went to court. My only sibling died. I have shouldered the daily responsibilities and absolute pleasures of two magnificent small guys alone for 360 days and nights (with no help). I took and passed an anatomy exam. I spent 7 days in isolation in a hospital ward and 2 months in recovery. I took and passed a “principles of personal development” exam. And a ton of stuff (don’t want to bore you to death). My point is. If I can do it. So can you. Whatever it is you are going through. So. Can. You.

Your life will be easier if you treat it like one big game. You’re just one of the many players in it and you get to play again tomorrow. The trick is to enjoy and treat each day earnestly as if it’s going to be the last day you'll ever play.

Love is closely related to courage. Whoever is of little courage is also of little love. Don't be afraid of loving or losing out on love—be afraid of going through life without ever loving someone deeply.

Parenting is hard -- I often feel like a total failure. Oh well, I'll sleep it out for now. When I wake up I hope I don't have this feeling anymore.

After gaining weight up to 80kg last April, today, I brought down my weight back to 65kg. It’s easy, I just ran and walked an average of 10 miles each day for the past 10 weeks! ^^;

Whatever happened in the past doesn't matter. You can change the course of your life right now, here, at this very moment. But will you do it? Do you have the courage to make the changes? Are you willing to destroy the identity you've built all these years?

@equamonious Criticism is a free service. You consider it, but it's up to you to act on it or to ignore it.

@S_a_m_m_m_s Yes, if we are open about our likes and thinking, people with the same standards will gravitate towards us, just as people who have different standards would repel us. That's a good thing.

@1DenverMishima Agreed :) life gets so much easier once we stop trying to be liked. Weirdly we find "our people" more quickly too.

You can't please everybody. In truth, for every 10 people you meet: ・two people will like you and become your friends ・one will hate you whatever you do ・and the rest won't care Focus all your energy on the two who like you (your tribe) and ignore the rest.

You've been fooled. Ikigai is not the intersection of: ・what you love ・what you're good at ・what the world needs ・what you can be paid for That's just a bunch of misinformation. Ikigai is simpler than that -- it's doing or having something worth living for in this world.

You can never really know someone without taking a chance at them. Take a chance and love someone -- win or lose, at least you played, and that makes all the difference.

If you want to be lucky do this: ・go out there and explore ・be the best self no one could ever be ・be curious and open to anything in front of you You've been lucky already -- you've won the lottery of life. What's the chance of that happening?
