@AQAEnglish Hi, we are still awaiting our stationary pack to send the recorded samples for the spoken language endorsement. When will we receive these and when is the deadline? Thank you
English

@AQAEnglish Does an order have to be placed or is each school automatically sent one? Thanks
English

@1EnglishTeach_ Hi. You will receive the stationary pack via post in due course. ^ST
English

@AQAEnglish hi, on your website it states a stationary pack is provided for the spoken language endorsement. Where can I access this?
Thank you

Are there any Eng dpt. out there who teach solely lit in Y10 and language in Y11? How do you ensure Lit doesn’t become completely forgotten by the time Lang content has finished being taught? Help! @Team_English1

@mrsmacteach33 @Team_English1 Hi Elaine, I had a look at your Tempest booklet today. It is magnificent. Thank you so much for sharing.
English

@1EnglishTeach_ @Team_English1 I've updated this post and you can download the booklet from here. The focus is very specific - Caliban - so it might not suit, but hope it helps!

Is there anyone who has a Tempest SOW for KS3 they would be willing to share? We are looking to teach it in the same depth as we do Macbeth at KS4. However don’t feel confident as a department just yet. Thank you @Team_English1 @Mathew_Lynch44 @SPryke2 @SaysMiss
English

@Just_Surma Please may I have a glance for starting points?
English

@1EnglishTeach_ Hi, I do have one but it's about 5 or 6 years old now so may be a little dated and need updating. I'd be happy to share though!
English

@Just_Surma Hello, I am told you are the go to person for a Romeo and Juliet SoW. Would you be willing to share? Thank you
English

@mrsmacteach33 @Team_English1 Thank you so much Elaine. This is great, especially as we also moving to The Bone Sparrow. Lots to work with. I would really appreciate the booklet. Can I send you my email via DM?
English

@1EnglishTeach_ @Team_English1 I’d be happy to help. We have made changes to how we teach The Tempest in order to think carefully about positionality and power. It’s been really effective. I wrote about it here, and can share my booklet next week.

🌟Blog post🌟if you wanted a bit more detail about my @TMEnglishIcons presentation on our Year 8 Curriculum: Powerful Voices, then I've written it all up here and included some comments about The Bone Sparrow that I had to cut because of time. 1/2 mrsmacteach33.wordpress.com/2022/03/08/pow…

@1EnglishTeach_ @Team_English1 @Mathew_Lynch44 @SPryke2 @SaysMiss Lots of SOW & resources on my Google drive. How do I get it to you?

We currently teach literacy as stand alone lessons but they are difficult to engage students. We want to capitalise off the back of all the work students do on Literacy in Y6. How do other dpts dedicate time to literacy? @AlwaysLearnWeb @Team_English1 @FaridaMili @__codexterous

Hi hive mind. We are moving from Eduqas to AQA and studying power and conflict. How do people pair poems when decided how to teach comparison? Which order do people teach them in? #teamenglish @Team_English1
English

@FaridaMili You really are a wealth of knowledge. I would love to be a student sat in your class. Thank you so much

One of the most rewarding aspects of Macbeth is connecting different moments and exploring the significance of the link. That can only happen when ss are able to navigate seamlessly through the text. This scene by scene knowledge board really helped with this. 2/

@FaridaMili Me and my students have gained a lot from your Macbeth threads (especially the comparison of A1S7 and A3S1). Thank you. Do you have any last minute pointers before the exam? TIA xxx
