@bennyjohnson So why, after 57 years and supposedly landing on the moon, did NASA spend billions of our taxpayer dollars just to fly around it?

@NASA But after 57 years and spending billions of taxpayer dollars, why is NASA only flying around the Moon and not landing on it?

@glennbeck @RTB_HRoss Sorry, Glenn, but you're the biggest April Fool of all 🤪

Today, as NASA prepares for its Artemis II mission, claims that we never went to the moon are everywhere. So, I asked astrophysicist @RTB_HRoss if there's any proof that we did go:
“There’s now three laser reflectors on the moon. Physicists beam laser beams off them every single day. Because of those laser reflectors that the Apollo astronauts put on the moon, we’re able to test theories of gravity to a degree that we’ve never been able to do before. So somebody put those laser reflectors there.”

@MattDevittWX Weather won't matter. Launch will be scrubbed anyway. This is NASA we are talking about here, not SpaceX.

NASA's #Artemis II launch this Wednesday at 6:24 PM is currently at 80% GO from Kennedy Space Center, Florida. NASA aims to launch four astronauts on humanity's first crewed Moon voyage in more than half a century...a 10-day flight around the moon and back that will mark the second mission of Artemis, successor to the Apollo program of the Cold War era.
Unlike a landing mission, Artemis II is a critical test flight—designed to prove that life-support systems, navigation, communication, and heat shield technology all work in deep space with humans onboard. The mission will push astronauts farther from Earth than ever before, using a “free-return trajectory” that naturally brings them home, and it sets the stage for future missions like Artemis III, which aims to land humans—including the first woman—on the lunar surface for the first time in over 50 years.

@JohnBenCawley1 Thank you for sharing this beautiful song with me, "Another Day Old" by Eddie Dalton. I loved it. He sung about the process of continuing life, adapting to new reality. There is nothing wrong with being another day old. 🎶🎶 🎤
