Today we started a new unit in Reader’s Workshop. The kids were doing an amazing job of pointing to the words as they were reading and the buzz in the room@was incredible! @wyeschool1

It has been a busy week in grade one! We ran for Terry Fox on Tuesday, had our first reader’s workshop celebration and paraded our favourite books around the school. And then @KyleSamaratunga came to read to us! @wyeschool1

I am so proud of our grade ones. They persevered and did a great job with their dream catchers. Thank you @ChecknitaMs for allowing our work to be a part of the amazing Orange Shirt Day display you have created in the @wyeschool1 gym.
