Was at Proph’s unreleased listening yesterday.
You can tell he’s really studied the greats - Michael Jackson, Usher, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake.
Bro played us hits all night.
2026’s looking serious for him👀🇬🇧
New Gen Greatness isn’t just a series.
It’s about spotlighting artists who’ve been putting in work for years and are finally stepping into their moment.
Kibo’s one of those.
Interview out now 🇬🇧🎤
When I first started discovering this new generation of UK rappers, Ashbeck was one of the first artists I really tapped into.
Always said I wanted to interview him one day!
Full circle moment still feels mad.
Proof that consistency compounds🫂🇬🇧
Things I’m doing more of this year:
- Consulting on campaigns & rollouts for brands & labels
- Hosting artist conversations & cultural talks
- Put on my own Matrix panel/Talk
- Interviewing Giggs (somehow, someway)
- Completing the BBK run (4/6)
The first artist to successfully fuse Grime sounds with Underground sounds correctly genuinely might be a star - I’ve seen one or two songs here and there but no one’s taken it all the way yet.
There are still positions of power going in the underground btw but the doors closing soon I’d say it has another 1-2 years before it solidifies completely.
More life to me man!
This year’s been one of the best - found my purpose, found my voice, and really started providing value to the culture I love.
Grateful for everyone who tapped in, supported, or gave me an opportunity.
Still a lot more work to do but not a bad first step🫂🇬🇧
Surreal one for me icl.
Grateful to have worked with The North Face & D Double E on The Coldest Dub campaign. Mad to think a brand I grew up seeing everywhere is now one I get to collaborate with.
Love to Culted & The North Face for bringing me in🫂🇬🇧
Lowkey it’s so hard to be a rapper in 2025 icl. You can be on top of the world one day and irrelevant the next. To be forever loved you need like 10–15 HIT songs. Do you know how hard that is?? 😭 It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack over and over again.
Too many times I’ll see a cypher, hear a hard MC… then check their Spotify/socials and there’s barely any music.
Respect to the artists shelling at cyphers AND dropping tracks— pushing the sound and their branding.
