i like this idea, its very thoughtful . However, can we all just stop painting everything shades of gray? our sepia toned and gray world is wearing me out.

Archers with the bowstring outside of their forearm is such a bizarre trend in current D&D art (all for the 2024 ruleset.) What is causing this? A staggering level of ignorance across multiple artists or an AI prompt that's stuck in a loop without anyone being the wiser?

Yeah. In 2019, the year I got back into gaming after about a 15 year hiatus, I bought the PHB/DMG/MM bundle with the slipcase and DM screen off Amazon for a really good deal. The 2014 version is a decent game, especially with the right group, but after the OGL/Brink/Tondro fiascos I just had to let mine go and never look back. Now that I'm so deep back into classic TSR era D&D I can't imagine anything WOTC could do to bring me back.

@mikemearls @Eric_Menge I have seen multiple people talk about how Eric has faced the music without negativity or name calling. He seems like a righteous dude.

I hope everyone with an opinion about the Inn of the Welcome Wench renaming deal can take a moment to acknowledge that @Eric_Menge has been a stand up dude about listening to complaints and respecting people.

@KenCape0327 At best he is an editor, who needed to rearrange a few things for organized play. I also couldn't believe they listed an artist for the maps. Like copying someone else's work is artistic.

@1PickledDragon I'm with you. Blood is boiling right now. I don't know what is worse, the name change of the inn, or that he said he wrote it, trying to take credit for Gary's work.

@KevinLamb74 So a wench is simply a young woman and is a word with a bit of medieval flare. I think its just another example of overly sensitive people who think they know whats best for people. Drawing attention to the missing prince is best done with rumors inside the inn!

@1PickledDragon @trolllordgames Pro tip. Make the challenge base number for ALL challenges 18. When rolling a check the player adds 6 to his roll if against a Prime. That way you don't have two numbers for every challenge. A 12 & 18 base.
