But since that can't realistically be done, there's going to be *a* line drawn in the sand, and I feel like "the two languages the artist is fluent in" is a pretty valid one

@LazyNick5 I'm just sad at the amount of hatred and xenophobia this gives to people. I can sympathise with language barriers, I acknowledge that English/Japanese is a barrier, even if I believe Toby doesn't owe us anything. But lord, the ease at which we'll just throw insults at each other

The argument of this group of ppl online is "there's more spanish speakers so WE should get a translation who gaf about the rest". If we look at steam appreciations, China, Russia, w. Europe, latam, etc we can see that ALL love and create equally bc we ALL love the same game

@LazyNick5 it's why I'm glad he mentionned fan translations because even if they're not perfect (spoilers: even an official one overseen by Toby himself wouldn't be), they allow more people to interact, and I just think that's neat idk, people be quick on hatin'

Mon avis sur la situation Toby Fox c'est que ok c'est pas ouf et ça pourrait être mieux géré de sa part, mais la grande partie de ce qu'il lui est reproché est même pas de son fait (merch et concert). Et pour le reste, on dirait qu'il est devenu la pire personne au monde. Dosez.

@rasciii @ultragayUmbrage idk, overall, I think people tend to forget Toby's an artist and treat him like this big CEO, like he's right next with Miyamoto or whatever, and forgets he has an artistic vision. It's fair to be frustrated by it, but I don't think it is to say it's bad or harmful

@rasciii @ultragayUmbrage Because then you don't have any connection whatsoever with that fan. You're not involved at all with the process, it's outside your control. You can talk with the translators for sure, but ultimately, you kinda have to blind-trust them if you do involve yourself
