SK1 wrote their first book today @TISMacao! We’ve been inquiring into pumpkins, and used our pumpkin to make muffins. After, we wrote a How To Book to share with others, so they can make their own muffins too.#TISempoweringlearning #authors #illustrators #chefs

After making pumpkin muffins, we decided to write a How To book to share with others @TISMacao. First, we remembered the steps. Then, Ss got into partners and drew a picture for one of the steps, and started labeling with developmental spelling. #TISempoweringlearning

We made pumpkin muffins and soup with our pumpkin @TISMacao. Then, we decided what we liked about pumpkins: carving, seeds, muffins, and/or soup. We added our names to the chart to show our preferences. #TISempoweringlearning

We continued our inquiry into pumpkins @TISMacao. We voted to carve a scary face and predicted the number of seeds inside. Guesses ranged from 10-20, to a trillion! We counted 231 seeds. Then, we roasted and ate them. Yum!#TISempoweringlearning
