I'm not sure I agree. I still think "alt season" happens, it's just that a specific narrative / niche gains mass attention at a given time. I define "alt season" as a time where altcoins are in favor and any given narrative could explode next, usually depending on macro news. This is why we use the "altcoin season index" (see below). I do not think we see a universal explosive pump for all altcoins, but we didn't see that last cycle either. Narrative pumps are what we knew would happen way back in 2022/3. There is sudden interest in the narrative, then it fades, this is usually the ATH for the coin (see second screenshot below). However most coins should still move with the market, positive and negative, with respects to M.C size/ liquidity. Unless of course you mean that narrative pumps occur even with Bitcoin pumping, out of the "alt season season" on the index. Which, as I currently understand it, hasn't happened yet. Just my 2 cents Miles!

Remove the phrase "alt season" from your vocabulary. You'll be a much better trader for it. In November, memes had an "alt season" In December, AI had an "alt season" In January, agents had an "alt season" In February, RWA is having an "alt season" This isn't an up-only market any more. There are lots of opportunities to make money, but it's sector-specific. If your system relies on "up-only", you're going to be waiting for a long time.. Adapt.
