Troopers assigned to 1-227th Aviation Regiment received their combat patch during a patching ceremony.
The combat patch has been a symbol during combat operations since WWI and continues to serve as an emblem of personal sacrifice and signifies deployment in a combat zone

🧵1/2 Team, gather round. We lost an amazing person & Soldier this week to suicide. I know many are hurting. Even one is one too many. The picture below is one of my firearms. I lock all my weapons. Why? Because research shows that secure storage of guns reduces suicide risk.
