@ZachHalverson Was at the game and it was noticeable that the entire 3rd period was horrendous. They had countless turnover in their own zone and kept shooting one timers from the blue line and forecheck was non existent.

The Wild lost by a goal on the road to one of the best teams in the league thanks to some very isolated, poor decision making that can and will be easily fixed. They dominated long stretches of the game and their power play is looking great. They are definitely worthy of criticism, but there is way too much panic going on right now among Wild fans. That was a great game by both teams and this will be a great series, if your heart can handle it.

Former Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is signing a 1 year deal with the Minnesota Vikings. Murray is at TCO Performance Center finishing up his visit but the Vikings have found their potential starting quarterback.

Now if Kyler comes out and plays at an MVP caliber level this year, then of course there’s potential to sign him long term. But no way Vikings will make that hedge now.

I wouldn’t throw in the towel on JJ McCarthy. Let me be clear on that. But I’m not the one trying hard to bring in a super-talented 28 year old former #1 overall pick with 87 career starts and 2 pro bowls. And please …stop with the “JJ can compete for the starting job with him.” Yea. No. You don’t sign Kyler to compete. You sign him because you intend on him being the starter. JJ’s “starting” career resumes elsewhere. That’s how I see it. Time will tell.
