I guess it’s a stretch to actually address what fundamental monetary mechanic that actually forces more and more money in to circulation. Come on, @elonmusk … Accumulated and compounded I n t e r e s t Money created ex nihilo as credit with an attached cost - called ”interest”. The money required to cover the cost of interest is not created - only the nominal amount of the debt. Ever growing defecit is a mechanic of a system that enriches the bankers - at the expense of society. I’m sure you actually know this. The system is created to extract productivity and funnel the profits to the top. We need an informed and aware public, not new oligarchs exploiting the same mechanic - when the current system dies. Debt and interest enslave society.
