Matthew McConaughey shared something beautiful and profound at Riverbend Church: We are Christ’s body — each of us a different part, with different roles. The foot doesn’t say “I’m not a hand, so I don’t belong.” The ear doesn’t say “I’m not an eye, so I’m worthless.” Every part is needed exactly where it is. The seemingly “lesser” parts are often the most essential. And when one part hurts, the whole body feels it. When one part thrives, the whole body rejoices. No one is more important. No one is unnecessary. In a world obsessed with comparison, status, and “main character energy,” this is a powerful reminder that real strength and meaning come from knowing your part and playing it well — together.
