Detransition is somewhat of a misleading term, even though I will still use it because people have an idea of what it means. I would call myself more ex trans than detrans because detransition indicates that there’s a path back to me being whole again. There is not.
I can’t regrow body parts or undo the psychological damage of 7 years of thinking that I was a man. All I can do is stuff like get laser hair removal for my facial hair, for example. I’ll always wear the scars of trans and have the psychological scars of rejecting my sex.
