The Hawks won’t get the Swans at a better time this season! Errol Gulden and Isaac Heeney won’t play & Logan McDonald will also face a test to play. Only has 2 contested marks the first two weeks. Needs to hit the scoreboard in the next two weeks or will be under the pump. Strong depth waiting in his position. Massimo D’Ambrosio - after a poor game against GWS in opening round, he only had 12 disposals against Essendon. Struggling to have an impact. Needs to do more. Sam Butler - 9 disposals. 0 tackles. 0 goals. Did the 1%’s well after being moved up the ground but needs to find more of the ball. Needs a big game against the Swans. Pressure and tackle all game. Jack Scrimshaw - May have played his worst game as a Hawk against the Bombers. Can’t afford a repeat against Sydney. We know the coach won’t be afraid to drop him. Bodie Ryan & Noah Mraz are waiting. In the mix 🙋 Bodie Ryan - Getting closer to a debut. Was one of Box Hill’s best again in their practice match. Noah Mraz- Had a good opportunity against the Bulldogs in pre-season. Likely to debut this season but not for a while. Flynn Perez - Unless Amon gets moved to the wing and D’Ambrosio gets dropped, I can’t see him playing. Aidan Schubert - Kicked 4 goals for Box Hill in their practice match. However, 3 came in the last 3 minutes. Currently ahead of Dear on form but not ready for AFL, yet. Will McCabe - Kicked 2 goals for Box Hill in their practice game. Trained with the forwards all pre-season and has been looking good. A debut this season won’t surprise.
