I turn 30 today. Here’s what I’d tell my 20-year-old self: 1. External validation is a hell of a drug. The sooner you stop chasing approval and start trusting yourself (while staying humble enough to be open to feedback), the further you’ll go. 2. Find what gives you energy. Cut what doesn’t. Keep optimizing until your default state is energy abundance. It makes hard things easier. 3. Figure out what game you’re playing—freedom, impact, wealth? Once you know, decisions get simpler. You stop playing other people’s games. 4. Take more risks. Most people play it safe. Risk sharpens your intuition, and your intuition is your best compass when you don’t know what to do. 5. Marry someone where 1 + 1 = 3. The compounding benefits of doing life with the right person are greater than anything you can do alone.

Literally never trust this guy - as far as i can tell, all the big providers already have the model IN HAND, and were ready to start serving it. A 1T parameter model that matches opus at coding was opensourced today and the world hasnt ended, he does nothing but lie. Also Elon you aint much better on this front, release grok3 now like you promised you would too. Why are American companies so bad at keeping promises, and so good at hyping things that arent to be? Meanwhile the chinese labs just plop the largest most powerful models right on our doorstep without a second thought and push forward opensource for everyone practically weekly now. American big labs, do better or stfu and stop making promises you wont keep.

We're entering a long period of consolidation in crypto. My advice is to find a problem you genuinely care about solving and put your head down for 3+ years. The alt szns of the past are dead, many of the old guard will leave the space. The opportunity is simply to endure.
