@zombiemanjay I’m so lost where this mouthpiece “tactics” narrative came from? He got caught pretty bad, mouthpiece came out, ref didn’t realize, he flashed his teeth twice but ref wasn’t paying attention so he told him. Ref then picks up mouthpiece and takes it ti the corner to be cleaned???

@marioo3s To be fair, he’d just been dropped, had 30 seconds to recover with corner “fumbling” mouth piece etc and still wasn’t recovered, taking another 4-6 clean shots without reply. Fair stoppage but there will always be critics due to how the fight was going

That said. That was a very stupid stoppage. These referees do need to be checked and accountable too.

He wasn’t winning. I was live at the event, guy was literally wincing after 3 rounds. This is another classic case of people overhyping what they saw because they didn’t expect that fighter to stand a chance. You score rounds on punches and significant punches, not narratives 😭
