It's shaping that way in some programs. Like the level of competition, infrastructure and opportunities students have is far better every year

@clerkie Esports orgs tried to run their own leagues and could not find sustainable revenue. College esports will become the bridge from “amateur” to “professional “ just like it is for traditional sports.

I’ve been asked a lot how this benefits both parties so here’s the TLDR.
College has full team in person, paid housing, food, staff subsidized. This offsets a lot of org cost and allows to have an in-person team which is much easier to activate.

Bucks won with PJ as 5th guy standing in corner/crashing offensive glass, so we know that can work (and emphasis on D over O is even clearer now w/Dame). Ideally AJax/MarJon could work but are you better off trading value for proven guy like Caruso? That’s the biggest roster Q.
