The $ICP madman is actually back 🔥 (not on X for now, unfortunately)

Jerry Banfield is back and this was actually a great video. His biggest mistake though was never really being on a crypto team and seeing how projects don’t always align with price or even care about sometimes. They make money in other ways. Plus tokenomics are the biggest indicator of how a token will perform. He was recommending $ICP at $18 and even around $6 as it dropped, while I was making videos saying the tech is good but the tokenomics would crush it. I didn’t turn into an ICP bull until it hit around $3 my average now is under $4 because I understood that part. Crypto is NOT just about tech… it’s: tokenomics, hype, marketing… and then tech. That said, I still believe ICP does very well long term tokenomics are improving and the hype is just starting with Caffeine AI. 👀 Good to see Jerry back. Going to focus more on outward-facing content bc we need more users, investment capital, and demand My only piece of advice is to have realistic expectations w/ M70 The market will work itself out on its own time We get too hyper focused on this “next thing hysteria cycle” and it’s always 100% centered around price Before Mission70 it was Caffeine. WHEN CAFFEINE WHEN LAUNCH?!?! Caffeine launched. Price didn’t go up. People didn’t care. Then pivoted to the next “WHEN THIS THING!?” But the underlying intention is wanting to do something to make price go up “We need more marketing! Real institutional partnerships!!” Dfinity partners with Pakistan. Price didn’t go up. So people didn’t care. Then. WHEN MISSION 70?!?!? The internal “next thing hysteria cycles” don’t produce much/any value. They are focused internally. Not externally (where the target market is) I’ve never heard someone say “I onboarded ICP bc I saw a bunch of spam in the feed about something I didn’t understand.” People come into the eco bc they are sold on the long term vision of ICP being the hub for Web3. **Also the next thing hysteria cycles create an emotional roller coaster which accelerates time based capitulation** The “thing” everyone has been hyping up - inevitably comes and goes. But when price doesn’t go up - it leads to a big let down. Then people jump to the next thing and the cycle repeats. And if price doesn’t go up in the next 1-2 months. There *will be* a next thing. Now that Mission70 has passed. The conversation should shift to education, outreach, onboarding new users/investors, and increasing demand. My next video will be going over my outlook with cloud engines and ICP<>BigTech. Going over some practical scenarios where this would make sense from my pov. etc. $ICP $CLOUD ☁️♾️
