@lesliechurch As a Canadian worker, this is the worse year i have been working in Canada for the past 20 years. The life is getting more difficult, tax higher and higher, keeping a house to feed family is very hard, job opportunities less and less….. the country in your message is not Canada.

The deficit is coming down 📉 Home prices and rents are coming down 📉 The GDP is going up 📈 Non-U.S. exports are going up 📈 Why? Because our plan is starting to pay off. We are empowering workers, we are investing in Canada and we are Building 🇨🇦 Strong.

@MarkJCarney Hei Mark, it seems we don’t need new homes to be built. There are huge supplies over demand on market. Can you read newspapers everyday and keep yourself updated?

With Build Canada homes, we’re transforming the way we build homes in this country. We’re using Canadian technology to build modular and factory-built homes that will help bring up the housing supply — so your costs come down.

@ronmortgageguy I think this is everyone is very happy to see it happen, isn’t it? Everyone hates investors and blames investors and now everyone is laughing and celebrating investor collapse. I am not a condo investor but I feel the market atmosphere is odd.

@ronmortgageguy BoC Tiff Macklem clearly said to Canadian in 2021, go ahead to do investment, expense money…. interest rate will be low. Does he get any consequences on this completely wrong comments? People heard from him and got debt (no fraud, through normal process) get very tough time

@ronmortgageguy This price drop is subsidized by HST which is eventually funded by all taxpayers even those the taxpayers’s own house is devalued by 13%. It is not real price drop. It is just wealth shift from one group of people to targeted group of people.

@legallymsjuno Our young people don’t get trained in college or university? If it is true, our young people should not go to college and university which would let them get a job.

Hey conservatives, I get that a lot of you can't stand Carney right now. But today's announcement is actually smart: Team Canada Strong $6 billion to train 80,000–100,000 new skilled trades workers by 2030. It's not more government jobs. It's real incentives for young people to get into high-paying trades so we can actually build homes and infrastructure. Plenty to criticize the Liberals on, but this one's a win for Canada. Worth acknowledging.

@MarcNixon24 I don’t get any support as my husband and I both work. My house value is down as my neighbor new house has HST rebate. And I will be the person to pay the HST bill to pay for down value my own house.

On a per-person basis, Canada is attracting more foreign investment than any other G7 country - roughly double the next closest and our highest level in 18 years. More investment means more jobs, more growth, and more opportunity.

Eight years ago, on April 6, 2018, a transport truck collided with a bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team, killing 16 people and injuring 13 others. Now the guy who did it wants to stay in Canada via refugee status. Agree or nah?

@KirkLubimov What is the solution to fix the price up of fresh vegetables? Jump interest rate may force people with mortgages to cut consumption of fresh vegetables and the inflation can be fixed? After interest hike for too long, supplies are limited and price cannot be down.

Canada's immigration cuts have fuelled 18 consecutive months of rent decline. Keep cutting immigration until rent falls to $500/month and all young Canadians that work hard can afford to buy a single-family home with a back and front yard.

Liberals in Canada now have majority. All conservatives did was hate, lie & cause unnecessary bullshit - nothing 4 the ppl. The damn NDP did more for Canada in the past 5 years than conservatives. First order of business today - shaving the gas tax. ⛽️ Carney unleashed.

Ontario’s new HST rebate is already having an impact, making homes more affordable by saving homebuyers up to $130,000 off the cost of a new home. It’s also giving builders the confidence to get shovels in the ground, so we can keep tens of thousands of Ontario workers on the job in the face of tariffs and economic uncertainty.

I think people are sleeping on how quickly the rental market could cool over the next couple yrs. Rental demand growth will slow sharply from outflows in NPR cohort. At the same time, we have the purpose-built rental stock set to expand by ~6% nationally as new units complete 1/3
