Each new cohort of Bitcoin adopters will have a set of people who have to learn the hard way that Bitcoin Core is notsomuch a formal organization as it is a process. The process is not perfect, but rough consensus is that it's the best one we've got.

Starmer wants the UK to join the EU-backed €90B loan to Ukraine. Brexit was supposed to free the UK from EU obligations. Seems the UK is back underwriting them.

@Kaos_Vs_Control The police officer is a complete egotistical twat, and anyone who thinks otherwise is a racist dipshit, using incidents like this to try and hide their bigotry.

@georgegalloway But he’s one of the biggest causes of it. When you support the genocide by Israel you create an environment that breeds antisemitism. He also doesn’t give a shit about Jewish people in any-case, if he did he wouldn’t persecute anti-Zionist Jews and back Zionist nut jobs

@Davincij15 Though you don’t need 100,000. If you bought in 2011 you must own ample. If you have 100+ #Bitcoin then you have no right to be complaining, no one needs that much money, and it rarely does you or the world any good when someone does.

I have referred Sky News and GMB to Ofcom over disgraceful and baseless smears that have been made about me. There is nothing antisemitic about supporting the people of Palestine. I will continue to speak out against racism, apartheid and genocide. novaramedia.com/2026/05/05/jer…

Together
Together@Togetherdec·
The missing piece in resisting Digital ID? Over the past few years, we’ve campaigned hard. We’ve signed petitions, completed consultations, written to MPs and public bodies. We’ve marched, protested, shared, posted, argued and persuaded. And we’ve achieved real results. When “vaccine passports” were stopped, it wasn’t because people stayed silent. It was because hundreds of thousands of ordinary people came together and said “no” - loudly, publicly, and collectively. The original Together Declaration quickly gathered 200,000 signatures and helped force a political climbdown. But there’s something more we can do to build on this. The next layer Alongside campaigning, we need a clear, visible, collective line in the sand: “We will not comply.” That’s why, at our Trafalgar Square rally on 25 April, we launched a new joint pledge with NO2ID. This isn’t a casual click or name on a list. It’s a serious, personal commitment: you will refuse to comply with digital ID and “government by app.” It may bring inconvenience. It may mean standing firm when others don’t. But it is entirely lawful. Why a pledge? A pledge turns isolated individuals into a coordinated force. Alone, non-compliance can feel risky, uncertain, even pointless. Most people comply not because they agree, but because they feel alone. When thousands - or hundreds of thousands, or more - make the same commitment in advance, the risk is shared. Confidence grows. Compliance is no longer guaranteed. Why this matters now Millions already oppose digital ID. When first proposed, opposition was huge. A petition gathered 3 million signatures. The government has been forced to drop its overtly “compulsory” plans. Yet for now the scheme is advancing, in a different form. Petitions can play an important role in registering disagreement and raising awareness, but they can’t stop implementation. What ultimately matters sometimes is what people are prepared to do - or not do - in practice. This approach has worked before. During the successful NO2ID campaign against Tony Blair’s ID cards, a similar pledge of non-cooperation was downloaded over a million times. Where this is going Thanks to public pressure, the official digital ID scheme is under strain - but it’s still advancing in watered-down form. Our goal is to scrap it entirely. Even if we succeed, the broader push toward “government by app” will continue. That’s why we must keep campaigning and add this new layer of pledged non-compliance. Look out for more from us very soon with full details about how it works. For now, ask yourself: What would change if hundreds of thousands didn’t just disagree… but committed not to comply?

@BitcoinRachy I think the problem isn’t that he sees that as the problem, the problem is he’s trying to find an excuse to hide behind in order to avoid making a decisive decision. It’s also fear of learning something new, and the brains resistance to the effort required.

🚨THIS IS VERY SUSPICIOUS Energy facilities around the world are getting blown up, and no one knows the exact reason. Here's a list of major oil refineries/energy facilities being blown up this month: 3rd April: Russia's Major Oil Export Terminal 4th April: Russia's Crude Distillation Unit 7th April: India's Power Plant 9th April: Mexico's Refinery 14th April: India's Power Plant 15th April: Australia's Energy Refinery 20th April: Russia's Oil Refinery 21st April: India's Oil Refinery 21st April: Romania's Power Plant 21st April: Texas Oil Rig A few of them have been blown up by drones, but most of them mysteriously caught fire. And this is happening when the world is already going through its biggest energy crisis in decades. Is someone deliberating trying to push the world economy in Lockdown 2.0 by choking up global energy?
