News of @sinnfeinireland election victory in the North features prominently on the Guardian website, one of the world’s most popular news sites. Back in Ireland, the Irish indo’s website appears to have buried the story so far down it’s home page you need to scroll for >1 minute. And still nothing! Propaganda by omission is not just something RTE specialise in. It’s endemic across Irish media. Bury the good news about parties or people that threaten the crony gravy train, go to town on the slightest whiff of anything that could even be insinuated as bad for those who threaten Irish elites. It’s comical, but also deeply destructive to any sense of democracy. But then that’s the actual role of Irish media - prop up the corny gravy train, lie and manipulate to do so, all the while pretending to care about democracy and the truth.

Where was business post editor Daniel’s solidarity with @wereontheditch when it’s editor & basic press freedoms were being attacked by the Tanaiste in the Dail. Nowhere to be seen of course. The 2nd picture is all you need to know about who @McConnellDaniel stands with.

Irish cronies, who’ve been enriching themselves at taxpayers expense for decades and with few consequences, want you punching down, not up. They want you distracted by “migrants” and not focused on the real threat to your community: FFG cronies. Those cronies are laughing this weekend at the clowns that think they’re helping their communities by protesting “migrants”. You dumb fuckers, your communities have been hollowed out by Irish cronies, who fund FFG, and rely on the Irish media to almost universally stay mum about why your life is shit or going sideways. If you want to help your communities, protest cronies, their bought politicians, and their servile media. And vote for politicians that might actually look after your interests.

.@WebSummitRio was simply incredible. What a city, and what a country to host more than 21,000 nerds from 91 countries across the world. By day and by night Rio was the star. We can’t wait to come back in 2024. And maybe with 30,000 attendees! Safe home ✈️ & thank you Rio 🙏 🇧🇷

@paddycosgrave Sure going to trust a man who hasn’t paid over 50k in rent certainly a “reputable” independent source…

It’s inspiring & incredible what just two journalists doing their jobs can achieve. I just wish more journalists & their editors in Ireland would consider doing their jobs as well. Our democracy & society would be much the better for it.

Ireland’s deputy prime minister (Tanaiste) and an Irish politician attacking in parliament yesterday news website @wereontheditch whose reporting on corruption has forced multiple ministers to resign in recent months. Including calling for it to be “removed” - shut down. Wild

@paddycosgrave Wonderful! It must be magic to see into the minds of not only all the “tech bros” (no sisters?), but also every business person in Ireland.

There isn’t a single successful Irish tech bro who supports FFG on Twitter. But there’s about a dozen unsuccessful ones who do - they’re a strange mix of grifters, con artists, fraudsters & failures. And that just about sums up the type of business people who support FFG. 😂

@paddycosgrave Nothing more than “claims” with no concrete evidence hence why no one is taking this story seriously. Who is funding “The Ditch” and what is their agenda?

Day 6: An expose of criminality by a sitting Irish government minister, read by well over one million people, remains the biggest story on social media. There has been no denial & no legal letters issued. But 6 days in no other media has commented on the story. What’s going on?

@NPR @elonmusk @twitter what percentage of funding does a company need to become "government funded"? Kinda makes me wonder if @SpaceX would also be considered "government funded".
