No, not ‘outside’ the ground but on concourse, TV screenless, protecting my ‘slightly injured’ (luckily haven’t had a lot to clap for this season!) arm 15 mins after KO. Got to say the cameraderie amongst supporters was fantastic. @andyhaseley2 @sarbax6

@wolvespremier @wolvesayi92 Our heads did drop on plenty of occasions last season as well, Semedo was OK, but I don’t think a ‘natural’ Captain. I think the role has affected some talented players over the years as well, I can think of a few players whose game was affected when made captain.

We need to be realistic - this squad is NOWHERE near the level we need. Some of these players would / will genuinely struggle in the Championship. Low on confidence, coupled with lack of ability. It’s a shambles and we deserve to be where we are. The table doesn’t lie. Imagine using the analogy in business. Letting your best, proven - highest paid sales performers leave your organisation each year - and replace them with lesser paid, un-tried staff in the ‘hope’ they will come good …and expect the same results! Ludicrous!!!! The team started compact yesterday and defended well - but as soon as the first goal went in yesterday - ALL heads dropped and there was no way back! I’d just like us to go down with a fight and sadly throughout this squad are mercenaries who will already be feathering their own nests and getting their futures sorted. RE will do his level best to get a tune, I am sure he will have his targets in January but even if he didn’t get another win this season. NONE of this is on him. ….ITS ALL ON @Fosun_Intl and sadly it’s too late.
