Only 4 foreigners. Asian Cup 2011 & 2015 — group-stage exits. Again… 4 foreigners. Saudi NT’s last major achievement? 2003. So the idea that fewer foreigners = better national team? Doesn’t really hold. If anything… this current generation is competing at a similar level, and without the 2007 run in Asia Cup, the “8 foreigners” era might even look better. So what do you think… is reducing foreigners really the solution, or is something else missing?
