Afroman testified today in a trial over a defamation lawsuit brought against him by sheriff's deputies who raided his property in Ohio in 2022.

The prosecution claims there was a miscount in the initial amount of money. An internal review by the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office concluded that no theft occurred. Investigators stated that while deputies recorded collecting $4,390, body camera footage and subsequent counts suggested they only actually had $4,000 from the start.

Shawn Cooley said the video and being called a thief subjected them to humiliation, emotional distress, and death threats to himself and his family.
Pound Cake, I mean Shawn, stated he received hundreds of pound cakes at work from people.
