Mk.gee, Clairo, Dijon (behind the camera), Deker Daily, Danae Greenfield, and Hailey Niswanger perform a rendition of "Can't Win" by The Invincibles on what appears to be a tour bus. The original Invincibles recording of the track came out in 1966. It was later widely popularized by Ry Cooder, who covered it on his 1979 album 'Bop Till You Drop.'
The video has been circulating again after it was re-uploaded in March 2026 on YouTube. It likely dates back to the Re:SET Concert Series in the summer of 2023. The series included a stop at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, where boygenius, Dijon, and Clairo were on the bill.

A clip from the 1997 film DAKAN, one of the first West African films to center homosexuality. More than two decades later, DAKAN remains a landmark of queer cinema and a reminder of the legacy of Black queer storytelling across the diaspora. #Dakan #QueerCinema #AfricanCinema

Interesting how the world often treats the French Revolution as the only great symbol of freedom and rights, while the Haitian Revolution is treated like a footnote. Yet, Haiti did what many abolitionists elsewhere only preached, i.e., enslaved people rising up and defeating an empire, abolishing slavery, and claiming freedom by force. Haiti’s history deserves equal, and maybe greater, reverence.
