For those of you that didn't know the LHSAA is proposing new districts. Honestly I'm disappointed because I thought our 2 largest classification districts were working. I mean 5-5A was a top 2/3 district in 5A IMO. 4-5A was working IMO. Thoughts and opinions please!
I understand you can't make every school happy.

Brother Martin
Chalmette
Holy Cross
Jesuit
St. Augustine
John Curtis
Two years ago, Chalmette was placed in the Catholic League in one of the first drafts, but after appeal was placed in District 7-5A.

The first draft of the LHSAA district reclassification for 2026-2028 has Edna Karr moving out of District 9-5A (Catholic League) to 8-5A. The football schools in 8-5A: Bonnabel Riverdale Edna Karr East Jefferson John Ehret Higgins Warren Easton West Jefferson Deadline to submit a petition for a school’s placement in a district is Friday, November 14
