This is my favorite scene from The Bible.

A new 1,000-year reconstruction of cloud cover in the Western Mediterranean has revealed that modern skies are clearer than at any time in the past millennium, with this collapse in cloudiness mirroring the modern warming trend. Clouds reflect sunlight. Fewer clouds mean more solar energy reaching Earth's surface. The data show that cloud cover rose during the Little Ice Age, peaked around the 1600s, then began a sharp decline after 1850. Today, it's lower than 90% of all values over the last 1,000 years. This modern period of reduced cloudiness also coincides with higher solar activity, a warm Atlantic phase, fewer volcanic aerosols, and drier soils - all factors that reduce cloud formation. Earth's energy imbalance has increased, not because of CO2, but because global cloud cover decreased. It's a natural cycle, and the science, like the skies, is clear.
