When you see csam, don't just report it to twitter, you need to also report it to ncmec cybertips or the fbi cyber line, that is the ONLY way it will be removed quickly and the poster arrested- it is quick & easy to use ncmec, they even have .onion reporting

@iluvmichaelhall Smaller household size has given us personal watermelons so I hope that smaller loaves of bread become just as common, back when I could eat wheat this was a problem for me too, I'd buy bread for 1 or 2 sandwiches and then scramble to use it all

Yesterday we gave gany his subQ fluids with an 18g needle w his restock instead of a 20g that weve been using and he got very upset and was all puffed up after which hasn’t happened. I guess it’s the needle? I will use 20g from now.. has this happened to anyone else 😭

@Miss_Oluremi Kinda related. My aunt met a man who wanted kids, she went through fertility treatment for him, this caused a stroke. He waited to call 911 and let her fall / directly pushed her off a chair knocking her head onto porcelain, he left after stealing tf out of her meds after a bit

My 22 year old cousin was in a car accident with her fiancé, he had been drinking. She had her neck broken and was consequently a quadriplegic. He asked for his engagement ring back. She said he could have it but would have to take it off her finger, which he did. Her fingers were curled up. He had to straighten her ring finger out and took the ring off. She cried the entire time, and we all did.

@NataliePage Before my father left he harmed me quite badly. He was in the us navy. One time he had to watch me while I was very sick. He tied my hands behind my back and my ankles together with duct tape & left me in a corner all night, I threw up on myself. He touched me other times

Today the @DailyMail published the findings of my two-year investigation "The Brass Pass" into the hidden epidemic of domestic abuse suffered by military wives and girlfriends. A dossier of 52 cases reveals torture by Army men against their wives.

Was processing dandelion root and was remarking that the inner/outer root looks like tendons and ligaments. Signature there I never noticed before!

@Watchman_motto "it needs to look like a dollhouse" is a cornerstone of older ppl mentality. My grandma would obsess over the house looking like a realtor show room, if I left something on the table for like 5 minutes she would CHIMP out, I invoke chris flemings "we can't let ppl know we sit"

I share about 100 yards of drive way with my ~70yr old neighbors. For some reason he’s obsessed with knocking down the center grass in the middle of the tire ruts and covering it with gravel. He talks about it all the time, probably 30% of all conversations I have with him are about this. He’s asking if I want to pitch in for more gravel, etc. When I put my parents in a guest house behind the barn, my dad started talking about it too. He got some roundup and sprayed his section of road. Am I missing something here? I see no problem with it. It looks fine. It occupies 0% of my mind. I’m prepared to spend 0 dollars to remedy this “problem” What is happening?

The people who get phleghmy from eating dairy and then immediately conclude "no, the government must be poisoning us" instead of "oh I must be lactose intolerant" absolutely psychologically fascinate me especially

@captain_mrs The toilet thing is true I've got autism meaning some areas of my brain lagged behind others in terms of development, and I continued to have breakthrough accidents for a little after I was potty trained

the concept of the "sensitive period" from montessori is so useful, basically the time when a toddler is naturally learning some particular skillset really fast and if you miss it it'll be harder in the future. like i legit think this is why people have such trouble potty training older kids, they've missed the sensitive period for bodily awareness of toilet sensations. as parents the thing is learning the pattern of noticing if they're in a sensitive period for something and just letting them get on obsessively with working on that skill like they want to. currently watching my 12mo who isn't walking yet repeatedly climbing onto her little stool, turning herself around to sit on it, and then trying to stand up from sitting with no hands, and inevitably falling forwards eventually and then getting up and trying again. she's worked herself up to a 3 second stand from 1 second yesterday. like hey she's in a gross motor sensitive period clearly so imma just let her get on with it even though I am nervous about her falling and clonking her head - i'm on hand with cuddles if she does and she will have to learn to be brave

@glistnsprimcess It's absolutely true I was abused very badly by my relative who was double blind diagnosed with npd, but I don't really talk about this due to the ableists who are like "that means we should kill everybody with aspd and npd!" in response to my suffering

@Dr_JSA I often say geriatrics is legal necromancy. My great grandma had 6d dementia & stage 3 copd and still had heart surgery where she was given some sort of implant. She died a month later. Ppl of sound mind can do whatever but the way we treat old ppl is on a macro level cruel
