@TravionBarber8 was voted the DPOTY by opposing coaches after he led our defense with 112tkls, 31 TFLs, 6.5 Sacks, 3 INT, 2 FF, 1 FR and a defensive TD!!! Big time season for a young man who bought in and switched positions playing defense for his first time ever!

Gonna miss The Mountain. Not often do you get to watch a 6’6 2-way defensive stud put in work everyday at practice. We will miss his personality most of all. Such an amazing young man that we all are beyond proud to have coached. Congrats Ja’Qwon! 🐺

1st team All-District as a freshman a year ago, Garrett battled back from injury and played the final 4 games this year. Getting 3 picks (one for a TD) and being a presence in the backend the moment he returned. Huge future still to come! 🐺

Reckless Riley tore it up all season with a relentless motor and pursuit of the ball. Just a sophomore and you could see teams beginning to gameplan for him as the season went on. Such a bright future for Riley and a dark horizon for opposing QBs who have to face him! 🐺

@RileyStorie was voted Defensive End of the Year by opposing coaches! Riley’s high motor helped lead our team with 7.5 Sacks and 15 TFLs. His speed off the edge created problems all year. Congrats Riley!

WHAT. A. STUD. He was skeptical at first when I asked him to give not only defense a shot, but outside backer at that. But man, he bought in and was a natural seeking the rock. He played with a humbled violence you rarely see, and it was an absolute pleasure coaching him. 🐺
