@willreil The few times I’ve worked with fiberglass it was just a horrible experience the whole time. Highly recommend a respirator that takes P100 filters.

The $100 CNC I got on Facebook marketplace seems to be working just fine. Next up is running some G code and making my first cut! I also need to add some limit switches before I inevitably crash this thing.

@madebyjessg find an hourly rate that’s justifiable for the work, or simply what you want to earn. time_to_make × hourly_rate +material cost +tool cost +10-20% for material/tool breakage then add a markup. start around 2×, and if it sells out immediately, raise it.

Buying wood for learning how to use the CNC, they only had big sheets of MDF and I don’t have a saw to cut it (yet) so I got these little boards instead. Should be good enough to test with for now. I need a table saw or something.
