🛠️ Call of Duty: #Warzone We deployed a minor update today with the following bug fixes: ▫️Fixed an issue where more than one Classified Weapon event could occur during the same Battle Royale match on Avalon. ▫️Fixed an issue where the benefits of Berserker could remain active longer than intended after a second consecutive elimination. ▫️Fixed an issue that could prevent players from opening the in-game loadout menu when the Strider 300 sniper rifle was equipped. ▫️Fixed an issue where elements from the match HUD and killcam HUD could appear in the gulag waiting area. ▫️Fixed an issue where the private match mode offering order displayed incorrectly in Battle Royale. ▫️Fixed an issue where the spectator camera could become stuck in the sky when a new private match starts after returning to the lobby. ▫️Fixed an issue where players were met with a dev error while loading into a private match. ▫️Fixed an issue causing a common error that impacted reward processing after match completion. ▫️Fixed an issue that prevented players from progressing the High Blood Moon easter egg in Resurgence.

While we celebrate the arrival of this new experience, we wanted to ensure players don’t miss the opportunity to continue working toward the rewards they’ve been chasing. Looking ahead to Season 03, we’re also planning to introduce a dedicated Win Streak reward track for Black Ops Royale featuring rewards unique to the mode. Please note that we are currently tracking an issue where consecutive victories may not properly update on the Win Streak tracker.

@CODMunityGG The the bullet velocity on M8A1 is still too good to give up, way easier to kill people off the sky than with the other weapons

⚔️ Long Range Meta Analysis The M8A1 still offers extremely low recoil, which makes it very easy to control at range. However, beyond that advantage, it’s hard to justify picking it right now. The Maddox and M15 both outperform it while remaining just as accessible and easy to use. In most long-range fights, they simply give you more consistency and better damage output. On paper, the EGRT actually looks meta. That said, two factors could prevent it from becoming the #1 choice: • A slight vertical gun kick. It’s manageable, but noticeable. • No bullet penetration, which means no wallbang potential. This limitation matters more than people realize, especially in ranked and competitive environments. So I can see a world where everyone comes back to the Maddox after this patch

Quick shoutout for those of yall trying to climb to IRI in ranked. Rn there’s a lot of people that can shoot but very few people that know how to Anchor and make sure there’s constant Advanced UAVs up. Watch my boy Krinkz if you’re trying to learn that role (will link below). The anchors job is to make it easy for his fraggers to frag, while also making sure to keep your team alive. Money management is also a huge skill I don’t see even some top teams have. Krinkz does a great job managing all these roles.

"Next week, we’ll be releasing a second wave of weapon adjustments specifically focused on Warzone that we believe will complement the changes arriving today." I think we'll have a much bigger weapon balancing next week! As they promised 4x per season (every 2 weeks)
