The government would send the military and increase police activity in that area. It's as simple as that. You'll understand better when the community chiefs and other leaders are picked up in the coming days. These things should be done without videos and announcing. As an Igbo person, it is culturally wrong for you to have an English surname. There is no reason to give your child an English name at all, not to talk of surnames. Your surname is your identity, your heritage and your root. ~~~~~~A Beautiful Lady.

The entire Rivers state you know today is Igboland. Apart from few Ijaw communities here and there. Ikwerre, ndoki, Etches and Opobo are Igbos. Rivers state is purely Igboland. We are debating this today just because of politics of who controls resources. ~~~~~~~Ikwerre man

Stop lowering standards for these South East governors Professor Charles Soludo failed woefully as a governor. Governor Hope Uzodimma failed woefully as a governor. Governor Francis Nwifuru failed woefully as a governor. Governor Peter Mba, a very weak pass, failed woefully in security of Enugu. Only governor Alex Otti met the standard of being a working and performing governor in East. Stop lowering standards for these incompetent people in our governments.
